CVS DEAL 86% OFF

We made a quick trip to CVS this morning and picked up these few items for the net cost of $2.19 (ex tax).

2 Glade Sense & Spray =  $10.00 on sale
1 Glade Candle Holder with Refill Candles = $3.00 on sale
3 Hershey's Bars = $2.38 on sale
Total Cost before Coupon = $15.38

We used:
2 $3.50 Glade coupons = -$7.00
1 $1.00 Glade coupon = -$1.00
1 Buy one Get 1 Free Hershey's Bar = -$1.19
Total Discount = Coupons $9.19 + Extra Care Bucks $4.00 (buy $12 or more in selected Glade producs and receive $4.00 ExtraCareBucks) = $13.19

Net Cost - $15.38 - $13.19 = $2.19

There are a couple of other free deals such as Carmex Moisture Plus and Almay Mascara today as well. However, after a few years of "coupon" shopping, we've decided that we won't purchase items that we don't use or won't need, or have someone to give them to. We find that this helps us not to center our lives around finding the next deal. Instead, we would like to incorporate coupons and savings into our lives, but not the other way around!
